Up Into the Branches
The Robinsons were shipwrecked. Rather than sit on the beach waiting for a sail, they took the ship apart and carried it up a tree — and what they built out of it is still standing in Adventureland, wedged room by room into the branches of a banyan.
You climb it yourself. A staircase winds up through the trunk and out along the limbs, past thatched rooms tucked wherever the tree left space for them, and brings you back down on the other side. Take it at whatever pace suits you and stop wherever the view earns it.
The View From the Top
Worth the climb on its own. From the upper platforms the canopy drops away and Adventureland opens up underneath you — rooftops, the water below, and the rest of the park beyond the trees. It is one of the few places in Magic Kingdom where you can get above the jungle and look back down at it.
Lanterns come on through the branches after dark, which is a different walk entirely and the one we would recommend second.
Before You Climb
This is a walkthrough, not a ride. There is no queue, no vehicle and nothing to board — the way up is stairs and the way down is more of them, and you set your own pace the whole way. Most people are up and down inside ten minutes.
